ProFence electric fence systems are not designed to kill.

Our electric fence systems deliver up to 10,000 volts of electricity to anyone and anything that would come into contact with it. Although this is a very high voltage, it is not deadly. As international standards put safety as their priority, our energizers deliver the electricity in pulses (<1 Hz every 1 to 1.5 seconds - 1 pulse) through the wires. This makes it a non- lethal barrier that gives a powerful electric shock that can drive intruders away.

It is safe for humans, but small animals like lizards may not be as fortunate. Also, like most electrical devices that cause interference like the MRI and electrical generators, it can be fatal to those with pacemakers.
